  Hey Jim,
  I have an 03 VL1500 w/stage 3 mod, that is having some carb issues. My fuel mileage seems to be going down and noticed that my pipes are a little sooty. I've tried adjusting carbs but to know avail. GMan rejetted after new pipes. Since your in Cali, I'm in Northern Cali, was wondering what you would charge to give a once over on carbs? Or do you think it might me something else?

  Jim I was wondering if you might be able to answer a queation for me. I have an 02 1500LC that I play real hard with and have the carbs built they way you told me about to really have fun with. Think the mains are 175 and 172.5,somewhere around there. Anyway question is would there be any benefit to changing the air pilot jets since they are the only thing stock in it.

  Jim,
  Have you seen or worked on any 1500's that had issues in the top side of the engine (valves, guides, etc.) ? All these years the 1500 has been bullet-proof as far as I've seen.

  Hi Jim,
  I just picked up an 01 1500 LC with stock exhaust,and I was wanting to get rid of the box under the tank and DocC90t said he thought you had done that before.Was wondering how that turned out and how it sounded and hopefully you might have some advise for me.I can't afford new exhaust right now and I would like to make it run a little better and also can a stage 3 be put in it with the changes to the exhaust system.

  Had the bike stored over the winter. Took it out yesterday. Within 2 miles I was unable to shift it back into neutral.
  I got it home by keeping it in 3rd gear, but cannot figure out why it does not shift back into neutral or first gear. Need help, please.
