Hi Q-G! Saw you visited my page. In turn stopped by yours seeing you’re a “Race Car” Fan and as I’ve always said, “You can’t beat meeting nicer individuals.” Although your big into NASCAR I thought you might be interested in knowing I spent part of Jul 18 - 21 @ Eldora Speedway in OH and got to see “live’ for the first time the Camping World Trucks on Dirt.
I’m from upstate NY and we have a great deal of DIRT Car Racing here and we went out to Eldora somewhat mainly to see the Big Block Modified’s. They had hoped for 35 or 36 Big Blocks and 59 showed up. It was the first time they’d been there in 10 years and many of the Fans had never seen them before. Pretty close to all of the DIRT Drivers Race here in central New York. It was impressive to watch them on a ? mile track.
But what was even more impressive was to see Tony Stewart working “hands on” from a four wheeler to the largest prep-ing machine they had to make sure the track was just right. Also in the Camping Series Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell and Rico Abreu finished 1,2,3 - all Ex DIRT Drivers. Also on hand was Kenny Shrader who finished 12th along with several other NASCAR notable Fans such as Michael Wallace etc.
