NAME: Mykal

RANK: N-14 (former legend)

RACE: Kinded, Assamite (vampire)

AGE: unknown

HAIR: Short brown,close cropped

EYES: emerald green

AFFILIATION: none

ALIGNMENT: neutral

WEAPONS: whatever is useful, and needed to accomplish the mission

DISCIPLINES:

CELERITY:

The Embrace gifts some vampires with startling speed and reflexes. They can use Celerity to move with amazing swiftness in times of stress. Mortals, and even Kindred lacking this Discipline, move as if in slow motion compared to the astonishing blur the vampire becomes.

Celerity is common among the Assamite, Brujah and Toreador clans. The Assamites use this ability to strike down their foes before the victims are even aware of the attack. Brujah delight in the advantage this Discipline gives them against superior numbers of opponents. Toreador are more likely to use Celerity to lend prenatural grace to live performances such as dance or extraordinary speed when creating sculptures or paintings - however, they can be as terrifying as any Assamite or Brujah when angered.

QUIETUS:

Quietus, the Discipline of silent death, is practiced by the kindred of Clan Assamite. Using the principles of poison, vitae control and pestilence, this blood-based Discipline focuses on the destruction of its target through varying means. Quietus does not always cause a quick death; the Assassins rely upon its secret lethality to hide their involvement with their victims.

[1] Silence of Death: Many Assamites claim never to have heard their target's death screams. Silence of Death imbues the Assamite with a mystical silence that radiates from her body, muting all noise within a certain vicinity. No sound occurs inside this zone, though sounds outside the area of effect may be heard by anyone in it. Rumors abound of certain skilled Assamite viziers who have the ability to silence a location rather than a circumference that follows them, but no proof of this has been forthcoming.

System: Maintains a 20-foot radius of utter stillness around the Assamite for one hour.

[2] Scorpion's Touch: By changing the properties of her blood, an Assamite may create a powerful venom that strips her prey of his resilience. This power is greatly feared by other Kindred, and all manner of hideous tales concerning methods of delivery circulate among trembling coteries. Assamites are known to deliver the poison by coating their weapons with it, blighting their opponents with a touch, or spitting it like a cobra. An apocryphal account speaks of a proud prince who discovered an Assamite plotting her exsanguination and began to diablerize her would-be assassin. Halfway through the act, she learned that she had ingested a dire quantity of tainted blood and was then unable to resist the weakened assamites renewed attack.

1 success - One turn
2 successes - One hour
3 successes - One day
4 successes - One month
5 successes - Permanently (though Stamina may be bought back up with experience)

If a mortal's Stamina falls to zero through use of Scorpion's Touch, she becomes terminally ill and loses immunity to diseases, her body succumbing to sickness within the year unless she somehow manages to increase her Stamina again. If a Kindred's Stamina falls to zero, the vampire enters torpor and remains that way until one of her Stamina points returns. If a Kindred if permanently reduced to zero Stamina, she may recover from torpor only through mystical means.

To afflict her target with the poison, the Assamite must touch her target's flesh or hit that target with something that carries the venom. Many Assamites lubricate their weapons with the excretion, while others pool the toxin in their hands (or fleck their lips with the poison, for a "kiss of death") and press it to their opponents. Weapons so envenomed must be of the melee variety - arrows, sling stones, bullets and the like cannot carry enough of the stuff to do damage, and it drips off in flight. No more than two bloodpoints' worth of poison may be expectorated, and a Kindred may spit a distance of 10 feet for each point of Strenght and/or Potence the character possesses. Assamites are immune to their own poison, but not the blood-venom of other Assamites.

[3] Dagon's Call: This terrible and recently rediscovered power allows an Assamite to drown her target in his own blood. By concentrating, the Assamite bursts her target's blood vessels and fills his lungs with vitae that proceeds to strangle him from within. The blood actually constricts the target's body from the inside as it floods through his system; thus, it works even on unbreathing Kindred. Until the target collapses in agony or death throes, this power has no visible effect, and many Assamites prefer it because it leaves no trace of their presence.

System: The Assamite must touch her target prior to using Dagon's Call. Within an hour thereafter, the Assamite may issue the call, though she need not be in the presence or even in the line of sight of her target.

[4] Baal's Caress: The penultimate use of blood as a weapon (short of diablerie itself), Baal's Caress allows the Assamite to transmute her blood into a virulent ichor that destroys any living or undred flesh it touches. In nights of yore, when Assamites led the charges of Saracen legions, the Assassins were often seen licking their blades, slicing open their tongues and lubricating their weapons with this foul excretion.

Baal's Caress may be used to augment any bladed weapon; everything from poisoned knives and swords to tainted fingernails and claws has been reported.

[5] Taste of Death: A refinement of Baal's Caress, Taste of Death allows the Assamite to spit caustic blood at her target. The blood coughed forth with this power burns flesh and corrodes bone; some Assamites have been reported to vomit voluminous streams of vitae that reduce their targets to heaps of sludge.

OBFUSCATE:

Kindred with this Discipline excel at hiding among and away from crowds. When they do not wish to be seen, others, especially mortals, rarely notice them even if they stand right in front of a crowd. Though this Discipline affects others' minds and does not actually render the user invisible, the end result is much the same - Kindred employing Obfuscate simply can't be seen. However, surveillance devices still track the character normally. Unless the vampire purposely makes herself seen, she can remain obscure indefinitely. At higher ratings, a vampire may slowly fade from the view of those around simply by not thinking about remaining in sight. Auspex and Obfuscate are opposed to one another. When Obfuscate is used against a Kindred who possesses a higher Auspex score than a character's Obfuscate score, the character is unable to conceal himself from the searcher. However, if the hider's score is higher, then the Kindred is fooled normally. While mortals normally have no ability to divine the location of Kindred with this Discipline, the Storyteller may rule that those with psychic powers may be able to see the vampire directly. Furthermore, children, especially those who retain their own unique perspective on the universe and have not fully accepted the reality imposed by their parents, are often able to see through Obfuscate.

[1] Cloak of Shadows:Your ability to conceal yourself is not yet fully developed, you you need some sort of cover in order to hide yourself effectively. Once undercover you must remain completely motionless in order to remain obscured. If you move, i f a light is turned on which would illuminate you, or if a viewer moves to an angle at which you are directly in his line of sight, the Cloak of shadow falls.

[2] Unseen Presence:Your powers of remaining unseen have become so potent that you can effectively cause yourself to disappear indefinitely and remain hidden even if you walk around. You are completely ignored unless someone specifically looks for you. People will move about in ways that cause them to avoid you and will even take actions to remove themselves from your vicinity. Their unconscious minds will do nearly anything to prevent their conscious mind to realize you are there.

[3] Mask of the Thousand Faces:This potent ability does not hide you from the gaze of others, but makes you appear as someone else. Your appearance does not actually change-you simply make people think they see someone else.

1 success: People could still pick you out of a police line-up.
2 successes: The character looks somewhat different ; subjects describe him differently.
3 successes: The desired look is successfully broadcast.
4 successes: Appearance, movement and actions are completely different.
5 successes: The character can even appear as someone of the opposite sex.

[4] Vanish from Mind's Eye:Your power has advanced to such a degree that you may actually disappear form plain view. Even if you are standing face to face with a mortal, you may exercise this power and vanish. Those who witness such a disappearing act, especially mortals, are normally stunned with indecision for a turn. Mortals with low Willpower may actually forget that they ever saw you.

[5] Cloak the Gathering: This incredibly manipulative power allows you to extend any of your Obfuscate powers to those around you. If one character compromises the disguise or invisibility, then only she is no longer under the protection of our powers. However, if you compromise the cloak it goes down for everybody.

[6] Conceal: The character may conceal a non-living object, up to the size of a house. The character must be touching the object or not be far from it, and it must have some emotional attachment to her. The object is concealed as if by the power of Unseen Presence. Concealing an object such as a crate, casket or truck also conceals its contents. A concealed object may be discovered by accident if someone walks into it.
.

[6] Mind Blank: The character is able to conceal her mind as well as body. The Vampire becomes completely impervious to Telepathic contact (see Auspex).
.

[6] Soul Mask: Even with One Thousand Faces, Aura Perception can allow a Kindred to tear right through a character's disguise and see his true self. With Soul Mask, however, the character can choose an aura he can take to hide his own. He can conceal his Vampiric nature, make himself seem completely innocent or more vile than he has any right to be. However, he can only choose one color to mask his true aura with unless he re-buys Soul Mask at a later level. Thus with six points in Obfuscate the character could make his aura blue-white. With seven points he could make his aura blue-white or pitch black.

[7] Cache: This power allows a character to maintain any other power of Obfuscation while absent. The character must be present to conceal people, places or objects in the first place, but can then leave without the concealment being dropped.

[7] Cloak: Just as Mind Blank allows a character to hide the psyche, so does Cloak allow her to conceal her aura from those using that Auspex power to search for her. If spotted, the aura can be read normally.

[8] Old Friends: The character can cause someone else to believe she is someone different - someone the viewer would like to see. Not only will the viewer not question the character's presence, but he will likely divulge information he otherwise would not and will generally treat the character with a great deal of warmth.

[9] Create Name: Not only does the character appear as someone else using this power, but he also can create an entire new mindset and aura, thus allowing himself to masquerade in almost complete safety. Telepaths reading his mind will read that of the assumed identity and aura readers will see the created aura.

[10] Memory Wipe: With this power, a Vampire can erase all traces of her existence from the annals of time and mind, leaving absolutely no evidence that she ever was. Written references mysteriously vanish, videotapes go blank and everyone else just forgets.

1 success: The target remembers one minor, mundane thing about the vampire.
2 successes: The target knows that she remembers, but doesn’t know anything about the vampire.
3 successes: The target feels a vestige of recognition.
4 successes: The target gets a feeling about the vampire.
5 successes: The target doesn’t notice a damned thing amiss.

Seeing the Unseen: Auspex enables Kindred to perceive many things beyond mortal ken. Among its many uses, Auspex can detect the presence of a supernatural being who is hidden from normal sight (a vampire using Obfuscate, a mage cloaked with invisibility, a wraith) or pierce illusions created by the Discipline of Chimerstry.

Eat food and drink: Has the unusual ability to eat human food and consume beverages. Although it is purged within a few hours of consumption.
