Ayaan Delta, a beautiful merman with a long, elegant, iridescent fish tail. Lived with a school of nearly 300 merfolk, known for there distinct gill whistle and beautiful voice. Love, a forgotten emotion among his school, he began to yearn for it. One day when he was out playing around, he came upon land. Curious he decided to get closer and explore. As he popped his head out of the water he saw something that made his heart ache. Two people ashore, passionately kissing, completely ignorant of his presence. He shed a tear and before they could see him he dove back into the watery depths of the sea.
Unable to convince his people that love was real and not a myth, he left. He was on a journey, a journey to find what he had seen with his own eyes, to find love. He spends his time exploring the seas of Varlonan, land to land. He loves to play tricks on sailors, charming them with his voice and gill made melodies. He usually has a very short attention span and everything interest him. Being born from an egg has left him with no belly button, which the people that do come in contact with him are intrigued by. And till this day he still yearns, and searches for love.
