Back story: Eros Thypus Calmino named after the god of love and lust was raised by his mother Elinna and his older sister Calahm. Until the age of 14 he was a simple farm boy, tending to the sheep and selling goat cheese at the local markets. When a letter came to the Calmino family. Eros fathers commander and chief wrote that Mr. Calmino had passed on active duty, leaving Elinna a widow with two children to raise and no coin to their name. Eros knew that in a matter of time the small farm would be taken by the prospectors after his mother could not support land costs and his sister would be sent away to work as a servant in a lords quarters. So at the age of 14 Eros chose to sign with the armies becoming the youngest soldier to serve and securing his families property.
It wouldn’t be till Eros was in his mid twenties when he would return to the farm once again, to find it in shambles. No goat, no sheep, no family. It was uncertain as to where the Calmino family had gone, but it was said that Elinna had taken in a wonderer, fallen in love and run off with him years before Eros returned home from war. Upset but forgiving Eros left to search for his sister. In the mists of scavenging the land for his only blood Eros accepts bounties, hunts and sells goods, it is when he accepts a job from a small town to hunt and kill a witch girl that his life changes.
Enter Pennela fostera or as Eros will come to call her Pefa. The witch girl that sent a town into a raving fear found standing at the mouth of a river draining her blood to become one with the earth. Eros could not bring himself to kill the girl but takes her in instead.

Back story: Brought to this earth by a gypsy witch, bathed in blood by her first breaths Pennela Fostera was found in a tattered cabin on the outskirts of a mining town where her mother had been eaten while giving birth to her by wolves. The animals instead of eating the child rested and watched over the young one till she was two. Taken away from them by a miner and his wife who had been working hard to have a child of their own she was given a chance of a normal life but magic and the wild spirit of the beast ran through her veins. By the time she was ten Pennela was casting enchantments far more advanced than the mages at any magic academy in the largest cities. She had the ability to summon demon emp’s and conjure fire. Though her powers where never meant to harm a soul the village became frightened of her growing skill and saw that her home be burnt to the ground. It was her father that had sent her away that morning, and upon her return to the village she found her mother and fathers tortured bodies in the rubble that was once her home. Running into the woods she remained there honing her skills to one day take revenge upon the village. On the day of her fifteenth birthday she stands at the mouth of the river leading down into the miners village cutting her hand open and bleeding out into the rushing water around her. Pennelas plan to flood the village is stopped by a man pointing a arrow to the back of her head. When she agrees to seas her attack on the people she becomes in debt to a man named Eros for sparing her life and takes under his wing for two years fallowing.
