In 2014, his passion for his residence city of Piraeus led him to get involved in local civic life, and he was voted, with an increase of than 14,000 votes - a record vote in the annals of local council elections - initial member of the City Council, operating closely with the city's mayor, Yiannis Moralis, to deliver plans of urban renewal and regeneration over the municipality. Evangelos attended a public school in Piraeus, Greece and found in Watford, England. He then studied for a BA in 'International Organization Administration' and completed his research with a Master's Degree in 'International Relations' in England. He is wedded to Athanasia Kassioti.
