I've joined the College of Health & Human Performance as a Lecturer in August of 2009, earned Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Kansas State University followed by Doctorate from the Department of Physiological Sciences in UF’s College of Veterinary Medicine. As a student, I've studied the impacts of exercise on areas of the brain that control hemorrhagic shock. As a Senior Lecturer, I spend the great majority of my time teaching rather than researching, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. When I'm not in the classroom, I can be found giving hallway lectures just outside of my office or in the gym–I'm just as enthusiastic about fitness as about teaching.
