I have many intrests but the one thing that rules is my love of steel and the nekkid edge. As a child I lived with my Grandparents. Somedays I would go with my Grandfather to a small job he had cleaning morter off of bricks. We would chip the old cement off and stack the bricks for resale. He had a bucket with some old axes that we used to chip away the old stuff. At the end of the day I would watch my Grandfather take all the axe-tools and re-sharpen them one by one. I became transfixed with the "Cutting Edge" at that young age. And I always wondered just how sharp......is sharp.
My first Knife (fishing knife)@ 13 was a "Western Cutlery" folder which I still have. Soon after i started to buy knives based on how sharp they were. i knew nothing about namebrands or quality, only that it was a knife with an edge. At age 21 I went to England and had the chance to go to Sheffield. I learned about a lot of Cutlerer's who immigrated to America with there Blade making skills. Many paved the way for some of todays top Brands...."CASE"...."WESTERN"...."I-XL"....."GERBER".....all stem from the UK.
After many years my collection has focused on the history of Cutlery. No clue as to how many I have these days.

I combine photography with my blades along with other intrests...sci-Fi & Fantasy...Aircraft, and other oddities to produce visions of the one thing that has haunted me.......The Nekkid Edge.....
