Saturday afternoon I received a very sad text from ThunderMntGirl. She wanted me to know that she quite suddenly lost her beloved husband Dave on Friday.
Life is so precious and death is such a thief. Most of us cannot comprehend the depth of the pain she is going through but we can all be here for her.
Not only is TMG dealing with the loss of her soul mate. Her Father is in ICU on a ventilator.
TMG met her husband in a chat room and they shared a wonderful life together. Let us ban together and show her our support as she walks through this very dark time.
C.S. Lewis, when dealing with his wife’s death, wrote that the wanted to be in a room full of people, wanting them surrounding him and yet only wanting to speak when he wanted to.
Let this chat room be the “room full of people” surrounding TMG. When she wants to speak, let us all take the time to listen and when she does not want to speak, either say a prayer or think a kind thought for her.
