2003 V-Star 1100 Classic purchased spring of 2009 with 3200 miles. First cruiser bike I've ever owned
Mods & Accessories include:
Hypercharger intake
Carb re-jet to help compensate for altitude
changes here in Idaho
Hard Krome 2 into 1 Sideburner pipes
Dyna 3000 module
Tachometer
Front & rear T/S visors
Tail light visor
Headlight visor
Red rear T/S lenses
Clear front T/S lenses
LED front T/S bulbs
Passenger floor boards
Passenger backrest
Silverado saddlebags and mounts
Chrome front and rear fender tips
Chrome front bumper rail
Rear lugggage rack
and more stuff that I can't remember (but Quicken can remind me of just how much money I spent!!)
UPDATE: crashed hard July 2013. Took out the front fender and rail, forks and tins, driving lights and T/S, broke right kneecap on Hypercharger and tore loose the muscles in my left thigh down to where they attach to my left knee.
February 2014: now have all the parts I need to have it back to exactly where it was. (thankfully, no frame damage) Got a settlement from the person that caused the accident, and shopped the heck outta the forums and interweb. Now just need motivation and a bit warmer weather in Boise.
Take-away from this: gear saved my life, 40 years of riding and a couple of STAR riding courses and a couple of years spent doing endurance road racing kept it from being a lot worse.
Live your life right, tell everyone that you love that you love them, (and often) because it can all be gone in the blink of and eye!
