Reading and research are of interest to me. International newspapers, such as The Jerusalem Post, The Moscow Times, and UK's The Guardian may occasionally find their way onto my reading palette. The New York Times is my preference for US and international news.

I enjoy studying certain aspects of US History from the periods 1812-1989. American Renaissance Literature (1851-1938) is an area which I would like to explore further.
Ancient Civilizations and Biblical studies, likewise, are of interest to me. Any information that can help me to better understand the Bible-- its people, settings and events--is always a welcome read.

I do not have a college degree at this time. Furthering my education is something that I am interested in pursuing; However, I have to pay the bills in the meantime.
