Even before six of my 'bros' died for Our Flag, I have ALWAYS stood for 'Her'... because over the previous 240+ years it has cost too many multi-colored souls not to stand and show the respect their sacrifice has earned. Moral: Never disrespect our Flag... I fought for 'her'... my six 'bros' died for 'her'.

Listen to your spirit whisper to your heart.

My Heroes... My Fallen 'Brothers': PFC Billy [had just turned 18, five days earlier; [was in my Basic Tng platoon]; 1LT Richard - Bronze Stars (2) - [HS alum, married, one child]; Sgt. Geri [good friend, was in my Basic Tng platoon]; CPL Charles - (Silver Star) [was in my Basic Tng platoon]; Sgt. Robert (Marine) [played football w/ him in college]; and CPL David - (Bronze Star) [attended my college, married, one child].

To this day, it is difficult to hear 'Taps' played... Without remembering what was and what could have been... I will never forget my 'Brothers'. They were soldiers once... and young.

Each time I vote, I will honor their memory... they will still have a voice!

This is dedicated to all unforgotten fallen 'Brothers' and 'Sisters'.... Freedom is not Free:
