Genealogists dig cemeteries and are dying to get into them - they're the dead centre of town! Undertakers bury rotting corpses, we overtakers dig them up!

Who cares, hehehe! :}
2nd book finished end 2008 in novel form - re the 1683 New York City piracy trial in which 6 greats grandfather was an accused (sentenced to a year and a day in jail & 20 lashes at the whipping post) - appealed and order given 2 days after judgment on 24 September 1683. Boots (beloved Old English Sheepdog) and Storm (Bouvier) are in it! Have done so far 150 digital copies, (July 2012), 100 or so sold, quite ok reviews to date - am not displeased, in due course trying for commercial publication!

Right financially, left socially (e.g. legalized euthanasia and abortions - to people who are able to give informed consent).
With myself and believe me, I don't let my meat loaf OR spray my shorts, but I do keep a hot rod, and a cool tool - after all we all should polish the fireman's helmet daily! Otherwise, no thanks - greatly overrated and extremely boring activity! Position is ridiculous, pleasure momentary and price exorbitant.
Don't talk about "humans" - talk about my beloved dogs - THEY'RE human! Pic. is of wonderful Boots (Old English Sheepdog), 1985 - 2000, aged 15 years 6 months and 7 days, 140 years in human terms (aka VOGDOG = Very / Venerable Old Gentleman Dog).
3 at present (July 2012): Dustin (OES, m, 12); Nikita (Bouvier, f, 3), and Roxy (Bouvier, f, 5).
One of the most politically incorrect people ever met and it will stay that way. Dear Aspergers, it's so sweet! Oh and don't forget what Al Pacino said in: 'Scent of a Woman' (to his cat): 'When in doubt, fuck'.

10 Favours a dog asks of you:

1- My life lasts between ten to fifteen years. Every separation from you means suffering for me. Think about this before you decide whether or not to adopt me!

2- Give me time to understand what you are asking from me.

3- Instill confidence in me - I thrive on it!

4- Do not be angry with me for a long time and do not lock me up for punishment! You have your work, your pleasure, your joy - I have only you.

5- Talk often to me! Even if I do not understand you completely, I do
understand the tone of your voice when you talk to me.

6- Know that, no matter how I am being treated, I shall never forget it!

7- Keep in mind, before you hit me, that my jaws could crush the knuckles of your hand with ease, but that I do not make use of them.

8- Before you scold me when working with me, consider: perhaps I am uncomfortable from digesting my last meal; perhaps I was exposed to the sun too long; or perhaps I have a wornout heart.

9- Take care of me when I am old — you too are going to be old one day.

10- Be with me when my going gets rough. Everything is easier for me when you are beside me.

"A hundred years from now, it will not matter the sort of house I lived in, what my bank account was, or the car I drove....but the world may be different because I was important in the life of the animals and the creatures on this earth." ~ Author Unknown

Considerata: the flip side of desiderata:

Always make a great noise and you
will be noticed. Always shout
the other fellow down, especially
the dull and the ignorant, they are not
worth listening to.

Always mix with loud and aggressive persons.
Compare yourself constantly with others,
and make sure that you’re on top. There will always be lesser persons than yourself to beat.

Be careful in business and make sure you crook the other person first. Be blind to virtue, it only covers the guilty heart.
Don’t be yourself, be whatever is expedient.

Be cynical about all things, especially love.
Don’t give in to old age, keep pushing. You may be a child of the universe, but the only right you have to be here is at the expense of the other man.

With all it’s glitter, money, palaces, fast cars, smart clothes, good food and wine,
the world is a pretty rotten place,
so keep screwing it up,

and above all - show a profit.

- Found on the grave of an old Indian ex landowner - Manhattan - 1626.

Or try this one for size (This be the Verse, Philip Larkin, English poet, from Collected poems) - it's so sweet:

They fuck you up, your mum and dad
They may not mean to but they do
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.

But they were fucked up in their turn
By fools in old style hats and coats
Who half the time were soppy stern
And half at one another's throats.

Man hands on misery to man
It deepens like a coastal shelf
Get out as early as you can
And don't have any kids yourself.

Lastly:

Winston Churchill wrote:

"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."

After the financial events of September 2008, of the phoney croney rampant 'capitalism' of the west it might be said:

'Phoney croney' capitalism is a philosophy of greed, the creed of thievery, and the gospel of "I'm all right Jack, bugger you". Its inherent virtue is the inequitable 'sharing' of wealth among the few.
